Wedding Details

Congrats! You snagged an exclusive invite to our wedding. Way to go!
Now we’re sure you’re wondering what to do next. We’ve got you covered. Below is a list of all the important details about our wedding day.
When:
Saturday, November 3, 2012. It all kicks off with a ceremony starting at 6 PM.
Where:
Everything will be at The Mezzanine in Newark, NJ
Hotel:
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Newark Penn Station at a discounted rate. Just click here to reserve your room or call (973) 622-5000. The hotel has free shuttles to and from Newark Airport and is connected to Newark Penn Station (train station). The hotel will also have a free shuttle to our wedding venue.
This is basically the only hotel in downtown Newark, so if you are planning on staying overnight you’ll either have to stay here or stay much farther away.
Traveling to Newark:
If you are flying to the New York area, we suggest you fly into Newark Liberty International Airport, as it is closest to our venue and there is a free shuttle to our hotel (see above). You can also fly into La Guardia or JFK and get to Newark via train/cab but it will take a while to get to NJ and won’t be cheap.
It is also easy to travel to Newark via train, as Amtrak, New Jersey Transit and PATH all run regular service to Newark Penn Station.
If you are coming from Manhattan, it is possible to take a cab but they can be rather expensive (about $75). If you’d like to schedule a car service, we recommend that you call the valet for the wedding, Luis (973-417-7509), who can have cars waiting for you when the party is over.
If you are driving to The Mezzanine, there is free valet parking.
Dress Code
It’s a Saturday night wedding, so definitely dress to impress. But it’s not a black tie wedding, so no need to wear a tux guys. For men, a nice suit is perfect. Since DB is writing this, I have no clue what the equivalent dress code is for women. Ladies, I am sure you can figure it out.
We look forward to celebrating our special day with you!
