WOW: Brianne and Andrew

17 Oct

DB, Marisa and I attended Brianne and Andrew’s wedding in southern California a few weeks ago and we had an amazing time!  The wedding was a thoughtful, ETSY-fulled masterpiece, the bride was stunning and the scenery was incredible.

Check out some pics below.

amazing long tables

oh yes, two people jumped in the pool

the happy newleyweds…and marisa

This wedding was the polar opposite of ours, but that’s exactly what I loved about it!  Brianne and I were fall wedding buddies – comparing notes, Etsy products, chatting constantly.  She really did an amazing job and everything fell into place.  But of course that means we are next.

Congrats to the Killengers!  Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks.  xoxo db2be

WOW: New England

9 Aug

It’s been a while since a WOW post, but that’s not to say there haven’t been extraordinary weddings I’ve been checking out online.  I’ve just been starring them and saving them!

This thoughtful Lake Falls, New Hampshire affair I saw a few weeks ago on Style Me Pretty looks like it was a ton of fun. The paper goods and that crazy cake were stand outs!

We are not outdoorsy, but always appreciate a good chance to kick off our shoes and party.  xoxo db2be

WOW: Nawlins

11 Jun

Sometimes I think I bookmark weddings as potential WOW candidates because I wish I was invited.  I can say with utmost certainty that this is the case with Victoria and Jackson’s wedding in New Orleans recently highlighted on Snippet & Ink.

Don’t you just want to be friends with these people?

As you may or may not know, my bachelorette party is planned for New Orleans and I can’t wait.  Ladies, I full expect a parade in my honor, complete with horns and puppets.

I cannot WAIT to go in just a few months.  It seems like such a fun and unique city!  Have you ever been?  If so, let me know some hotspots!!  xoxo db2be

WOW: Cincinnati

26 Apr

DB had found himself in Cincinnati a few times in the past months and took quite a liking to the city.  He enjoyed Skyline Chili (which he had four ways), Montgomery ribs and of course the Procter & Gamble headquarters.  So it certainly makes sense to feature a WOW from the Cincinnati, Ohio that I saw on Style Me Pretty.

Skyline Chili. Spaghetti topped with the meaty chili and covered with cheddar. As one of our friends pointed out, this looks like something a four year-old would create.

Check out some photos below and let me know what you think or if you want to check out the original blog post on Style Me Pretty, click here.  I love the carnival photos. Who knew there was another Coney Island?

I’m obsessed with this engagement shoot recently featured on 100 Layer Cake that was shot at Joshua Tree National Park in California.  I’ve included a few pics below but definitely check out all of the deets here.

WOW: Gramercy Park

13 Feb

Is there anything more beautiful than a NYC wedding?  How about a NYC style wedding in New Jersey? 🙂

Anyway, I am drooling over this Gramercy Park Hotel wedding that I found on Style Me Pretty (as usual!).   This site showcases beautiful and creative weddings.  They even have a NYC-area site, which is great for getting more local ideas.  This wedding was at the historic hotel and the bride and groom got access to the exclusive park for pictures.  Did you know you need a special key to enter?

Check out some pictures from this glamorous affair and let me know what you think!  xoxo db2be

WOW: Kansas City

25 Jan

Greetings from Kansas City!  I’ve been here since Sunday for work and it must be fate that I was wow-ed by this Kansas City wedding redo shoot on Style Me Pretty.  I’m not sure of the timing, but this couple had the opportunity to glam it up again and re-take wedding shots after they tied the knot.

Check out some of these fantastic shots below!

What do you think about her black wedding dress?  As much as I love black, I don’t think I could pull it off!  I might have some dress news of my own to share soon…    xoxo db2be
