The Senior Prom

15 May

DB asked me to the senior prom about four months before the big day.  My friend Jenn told him that we would have fun together and made the suggestion to ask me.  (Thanks Jenn!) We had been friendly, but I’m not even sure if I would call us friends.  Our moms were super active in all of those graduation fundraisers, so somehow we kept popping into each other’s lives for coupon book sales or senior celebration planning.

Anyway, since our fate was sealed, we decided to get to know each other better.  After all, when you are 18 years old, is there a bigger deal than the senior prom?  I remember a few things we did together like go see Spiderman and generally “hang out” like high school seniors tend to do, and I decided he was really nice. 🙂

The big day came and went on June 20-something in 2002.  We had the best time and basically haven’t had a dull moment since! xo db2be

Aren't we just precious??
